Thank you for visiting our web site. We are strong proponents of a soundly managed and fiscally responsible Park District for the 40,000 residents in the Oswegoland Park District (OPD). Unfortunately, this is not the case. OPD seems to be the highest spender per resident in the nation--hardly a fact to be proud of. OPD's property taxes are very high, and have just been raised once again. Their fees are exorbitant, and affect children and seniors, the two classes we should be protecting. This all stems from their runaway spending.
